The Community Poultry Fair and Demonstration is a one-day event celebrating local poultry farming, bringing together farmers, residents, and agricultural enthusiasts to explore the latest techniques, products, and innovations in poultry production. The fair emphasizes education, networking, and promoting community engagement in sustainable poultry farming.

The event begins at 10:00 AM with an opening ceremony that includes speeches from association leaders and local officials. The ceremony highlights the importance of poultry farming in providing food security, supporting livelihoods, and fostering economic growth in Acoua. Attendees will also receive a schedule of activities and guidance on visiting the demonstration areas.

From 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, participants will have access to interactive demonstration booths. These booths will cover critical aspects of poultry farming, including breeding techniques, feed preparation, housing design, waste management, and disease prevention. Farmers and agricultural technicians will be on hand to explain processes, demonstrate proper techniques, and answer questions. Visitors will have the opportunity to see live examples of chickens at various growth stages, observe feeding demonstrations, and understand practical approaches to improving farm efficiency.

From 12:30 PM to 01:30 PM, there will be a community networking lunch, allowing attendees to meet peers, discuss farming challenges, and share success stories. This session encourages collaboration and creates opportunities for forming partnerships among local farmers.

The afternoon session, from 01:30 PM to 03:00 PM, will feature hands-on workshops where participants can practice feed preparation, vaccination techniques, and other essential skills under the guidance of experts. These workshops provide practical learning experiences that attendees can immediately apply to their farms.

From 03:00 PM to 04:00 PM, a special module on marketing and sustainability will be presented. Participants will learn about strategies for selling poultry products, identifying profitable markets, and promoting environmentally friendly farming practices. This session aims to empower farmers to increase income while maintaining ethical and sustainable production.

The fair concludes from 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM with a community discussion panel, where farmers, trainers, and residents can share insights, discuss future initiatives, and provide feedback on improving local poultry farming practices. Certificates of participation will be distributed to attendees, recognizing their commitment to learning and advancing poultry farming in the commune.
